Vaigat

The Vaigat is the long passage between the north side of Disko Island and the mainland. Many of the icebergs from the  Ilulissat area drift north through the Vaigat and then spend several years in the northern Arctic before drifting south.

The icebergs in the Vaigat are huge

You cannot relax for a minute when sailing through the Vaigat. Luckily, it never gets dark!
