Jungle Scenes

Waterfalls are no longer just beautiful to behold, now they are the much needed showers we have been missing for the past few days. This one was completely hidden at the bottom of a ravine and our guides said that westerners never visited it. We could easily believe them because there were no tracks or trails down to it.

Looking out from a spectacular cave at the bottom of the ravine.  We had camped overnight at the top and climbed down in the morning to bathe under the waterfall and explore the caves.

Not all out trekking was through dense jungle.  It was a welcome change to be out in more open countryside at the end of our trek.
