Young monks drumming on Mount Phousi.   We climbed in the late afternoon but left before the famed sunset.  It was getting busy up there.

We climbed from the river road, there are some 300+ steps but plenty of places to stop and look around.  The views are great.

View from the top over the Nam Khan River to the new town.

From the other side you can look out over the old town.

We came down on another path which led to the main road of the  old town and  came out opposite the Royal Palace Museum.
