Kangersuatiaq (Proven) 72 23N 55 33W
This was as far north as we traveled in 2000 and it was an appropriate place to turn round. Kangersuatiaq is a Greenlandic town with few Scandinavian faces. Even so we managed to find someone who spoke English.
We arrived in a thick fog and I was glad we had the detailed chart #1650. We couldn't get the anchor to set on the rocky bottom so tied up to the ferry wharf.
