In 2005 we asked our excellent boatman Nyunt Pe of Inle Glory to take us to Indein village.  It is a long trip up a shallow winding and very scenic river.  Adding Indein to your boat trip will cost a $ or so more but it is worth the trip.  Many tourists go now so once again -  head out early

There are all manner of bridges over the rivers and canals of Inle but not too many are as substantial as this.
