This looks like a glacier but it is in fact a river of floating ice and icebergs coming down the Ice Fiord on it's way to the sea.
I found another tourist to take my picture.

As you sit above the fiord you can hear the ice cracking and groaning as the pressure builds up at the exit.

There is very little open water in the fiord. The spaces between the icebergs are filled with broken ice.
I stood for quite a while hoping to see a "break out" when the pressure is sufficient to push a mass of icebergs out to sea but it wasn't my lucky day.

Apparently the mouth of the fiord is relatively shallow which causes this build up of pressure.
