Erewan 192.jpg (39669 bytes) Two Hundred Kilometers northwest of Bangkok, this nature park cover some 550 square kilometers near the  Burmese border.  It was designated a park in  1975
Here a tributary of the Kwai Yai River cascades over the seven step Erawan (elephant) waterfalls..  It is a pleasant and easy ascent to the top. Erewan 193.jpg (39442 bytes)
Erewan 194.jpg (39913 bytes) A local guide for tourists recommends this romantic spot to "sweet hearted couples".   Take a bathing suit and a light pair of running shoes.
