There is a travel lift here but we chose Fermeuse to haul out in 1997 mainly because it is a quieter area and we thought security would be better.

This is an island with a beautiful lagoon in the middle called Traytown harbour. Access to the lagoon is via a narrow entrance channel.

The island used to have a thriving community but it is now deserted except for a few summer visitors.

Ireland's Eye is a must see.
