In this photo the bow is towards the left and the yellow line is for the twing. The 1/8" Spectra is the sheet and notice the little knot behind the white stopper. This knot is positioned so that with the twing tight and the spinnaker pulling on a close reach, the pole will just touch the forestay. This means you don't have to think about setting the guy during a launch, The crew just tightens the twing. More importantly it is impossible for the guy and clew of the sail to pull through the end of the pole. As long as the twing is tight (which is very easy to do) the windward side of the sail is under complete control. Then you can reset the guy at your leisure to suit the wind direction.
