Kha Khat Wain Kyanug is know for its parade of monks collecting alms in the early morning.  We did not see them but we did these statues of monks? collecting alms.

We heard our next destination long before we saw it.  I hoped  it might mean that I was to see my first Nat Pwe.

Nats like loud music so a full compliment of heavily amplified drums gongs and xylophones are called upon to lure them to the pwe.

Elderly Spectator sitting  behind the balustrade above and behind the musicians and players.   Others were below amongst them and we were encouraged to join them.   With the amplified music rattling my rib cage I knew I wouldn't be able to stay too long.
