We booked our flights at the Bagan Hotel where B.O.B. have a sales desk, as they were last minute we paid $200 US each rather than the full $225.  We had tried to book the day before but because of the weather they had few advance bookings and were expecting to have only one balloon in the air.  From a photographic point of view I preferred to have more than one.   This day they had two large and one smaller balloon airborne.

The Bagan plain at dawn. cloaked in mist.  As the sun rises higher the lengthening shadow and lingering mist create an unforgettable panorama of monuments as far as the eye can see.
