Back outside it was time to relax in the lagoon.  Rope swings over water appeal to boys of all ages.   Tony was joined here by a group of boys aged about 12  and these young Italian visitors.  We all left together, we on our old bicycles and the boys on brand new motor bikes.  Perhaps they were a bit older than I first thought.

We were sorry to leave but having  discovered a problem with our Visa's (purchased at the Laos embassy in Yangon) we had to return to Vientiane to correct the situation.
