As you might know Nong Khai is not in Laos, it is in Thailand just across the Friendship Bridge from Vientiane. I am including it here as we broke our journey from Myanmar to Laos there, at Mut Mee Guesthouse www.mutmee.net/index.htm From there we rented bicycles and visited the Buddha Park Salakaewkoo.

Similar to (some say better than) the one just across the bridge in Laos, it was created over the course of twenty years by the mystic shaman Luang Poo Boun Leua Sourirat who fled Laos in 1974 |

depiction of conception and ends with death. |
